Estimates on translation and proofreading can take into account the number of pages, lines, words or even characters. The easiest and fastest option both for the customer and for us is an estimate considering the number of words in the case of translations, and of pages in the case of proofreading, provided that a standard page has 30 lines of about 9 or 10 words each. Sworn translations are counted by lines.

However, sometimes the text format does not allow such an accurate estimate; in that case it is advisable that our staff make a more detailed estimate. The price will depend on the kind of job (translation or proofreading), the type of text (standard, technical, sworn, etc.) and the languages. The charge for weekends/urgency will be between 10% and 60%, depending on the service and urgency required. Interpreting is paid per hour or day, depending on whether it is simultaneous (in booths), consecutive or bilateral.
